Kids Wetsuits Feature

A one-piece wetsuit for kids called the Cressi Little Shark Kids Wetsuit is constructed of Lycra and Neoprene with a front and back thickness of 2 mm (sides, sleeves, and collar). The sections of Lycra in the Cressi Little Shark that will not irritate the skin when swimming provide good protection from the cold and the sun and optimum freedom of movement. Young toddlers can enjoy swimming or beach activities in it.

The UV protection offered by fabric is measured using the Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) rating system. The sunscreen SPF rating method is pretty similar to this. Only 1/50th of the UV light that hits the surface of a garment with a UPF of 50 can pass through it. In other terms, it filters out 98 percent or 49/50ths of UV light. The maximum possible rating, UPF 50+, was given to Little Shark.
