The top. Bright lifeguard yellow with LIFEGUARD and the Swimcore wordmark embroidered in red across the back, so swimmers and parents can find you from anywhere in the pool hall.

A small embroidered Swimcore wave logo sits on the chest. The fabric is a lightweight, breathable textured knit in a standard UK fit crew neck, comfortable through a long shift on a warm pool deck.

This is the uniform we wear on our own poolside at our Mill Hill swim school. It is made for working pool lifeguards, swim teachers, leisure centre staff and newly qualified NPLQ lifeguards starting their first job.

The shorts. Deep lifeguard red with yellow Swimcore Academy lettering and a yellow wave logo embroidered on the leg. An elasticated waist with a branded drawcord keeps them in place through a rescue.

Two zipped side pockets hold a whistle, keys and a phone without anything dropping into the water when you crouch at the poolside, and side splits at the hem give you room to move.

Sizing

Both pieces are adult unisex sizing. The shorts run from a 71 to 76 cm waist on S up to 91 to 96 cm on XXL; see the full size chart on the shorts page. The top fits a 36 to 38 inch chest on S up to 44 to 46 inches on XXL, in a standard UK fit, so go up a size if you want it looser; the full chart is on the t-shirt page. Unsure? Care

Machine wash cool, wash the top inside out, and do not tumble dry. Avoid ironing directly on the embroidery.
