Womens Neoprene Swimming Costume 1mm, the Cressi DEA looks and fits like a classic one piece but is made from Ultraspan-lined neoprene, so it keeps you warmer than a Lycra costume when the water is cool. It suits the pool, the sea, snorkelling and aqua fitness, and it also works as a thin layer under a diving wetsuit.

There is no zip. The stretch in the fabric lets you step into it and pull it up like any other costume, which keeps the lines clean front and back. The upper body has a smooth neoprene lining that helps stop water flushing in at the neckline, the lower part has a soft Ultrastretch lining, and the seams are flat stitched with anti-friction thread.

How warm is 1mm neoprene swimwear?

Warmer than a normal swimming costume. At this thickness it is lighter and less restrictive than a 2mm or 3mm suit. It is aimed at cooler pools, aqua fitness and sea swimming in milder conditions. Cressi does not publish a temperature rating for the DEA, and we will not quote a figure we cannot stand behind. For cold British open water, a full wetsuit is the better choice.

Does the Cressi DEA have a zip?

No. It is a zip-free design that you put on like a standard costume, so there is nothing to catch or rub. If you want a front zip, the Cressi Termico Lady is the sleeveless 2mm suit that has one.

Can I wear it under a wetsuit?

Yes. Cressi designed the DEA to be worn on its own or under a diving suit, and at 1 mm it adds very little bulk.

What size should I order?

Use the Cressi size chart above, which covers XS to XL by height, weight, chest, waist and hip. Neoprene should fit snugly with no loose gaps. If you are between sizes, send us your measurements and we will talk it through before you order.

How long does UK delivery take?

We ship from UK stock and delivery is free on orders over £100. If your order is delayed it is because that size has sold out and is being replenished, and that will take no longer than 10 working days.
