Womens Shorty Wetsuit 3mm, the Cressi Altum Lady is a one piece shorty cut for the female form, in black with pink shoulders. The 3 mm neoprene gives a little more warmth than a thinner 2.5 mm suit, while the short sleeves and legs keep your arms and knees free for snorkelling, swimming, paddleboarding and sailing.

It closes with a back zip and a long pull cord, so you can zip yourself up without help. Cressi uses double-lined neoprene with mono-lined sections and an anatomical cut for a close, comfortable fit, and describes the Altum as suitable for the broadest range of temperate waters.

Is a 3mm shorty wetsuit warm enough for open water swimming?

It suits pools, the sea in late spring and summer, and warmer holiday water. Cressi does not publish a temperature rating for the Altum, and we will not quote a figure we cannot stand behind. For open water swimming in cold British water, a full length wetsuit is the better choice.

What is the difference between 2.5mm and 3mm shorty wetsuits?

The 3 mm neoprene is a touch warmer, and a thinner 2.5 mm suit is a touch lighter and more flexible. If you want a 2.5 mm shorty for women with a front zip, look at the Cressi Playa.

Can I put on a back zip wetsuit by myself?

Yes. The long pull cord hangs down your back, so you reach behind, take hold of it and pull up. It is easiest with the suit already on your shoulders.

How long does UK delivery take?

We ship from UK stock and delivery is free on orders over £100. If your order is delayed it is because that size has sold out and is being replenished, and that will take no longer than 10 working days.
