Is this a neoprene swimsuit or a wetsuit?

Both words get used for it and both are fair. It is a neoprene swimsuit, which some people call a neoprene swim costume or a neoprene one piece: sleeves to the wrist, a neoprene body, and a leg line cut high like a swimming costume rather than legs running down to the ankle. You get the warmth and the coverage across your core, shoulders and arms without the bulk of a full women's wetsuit.

How thick is the neoprene?

We are not going to quote you a single figure, because our own supplier paperwork does not agree with itself. The written description says 3mm, while the pearl colourway is listed as 2.0mm. We have asked the warehouse to confirm the thickness of each colour in writing and we will publish it here once we have it. If the exact millimetre matters for your swimming, message us before you order and we will check the specific suit.

Where is the zip and can I get it on by myself?

The zip runs down the centre of the chest with a pull tab at the throat, so you can dress and undress without anyone helping you. There is no zip across the back. Take your time at the shoulders and work the sleeves on gradually rather than dragging at the neoprene.

What size should I order and how should it fit?

Sizes run XS, S, M and L. A neoprene swimsuit should feel firm and close to a second skin, with no slack pockets sitting at the small of your back or under your arms, because any gap fills with cold water and flushes it through every time you move. Snug when dry is right, and it will feel easier once you are wet. If you are between sizes, ask us and we will check the measurements before you order.

Is the neoprene double lined?

We do not know, so we are not going to tell you it is. Our supplier paperwork does not say whether the neoprene is double lined or lined on one face only, and that is not a detail worth guessing at. It sits on the same list as the thickness question above, and we will publish both here once the warehouse confirms them in writing.

How long does UK delivery take?

UK delivery is free on orders over £100. If your order is delayed it is because that size has sold out and is being replenished, and that will take no longer than 10 working days. We will let you know as soon as we hear.
