Is a jammer a better training swimsuit than loose swim shorts?

For lengths, yes. Loose shorts hold water and drag, while a jammer covers the thigh and stays close to the skin in the pool, so it moves with you on every push-off. That is why club and lane swimmers train in them, and plain black or navy suits most club kit rules.

Do they have a drawstring waist and UPF 50+ UV protection?

Our supplier has not documented a drawstring waist or a UPF rating for these jammers, so we will not claim either. If you need one of those features confirmed before ordering, message us and we will check with the warehouse.

Which size should I order?

Use the chart above. As a guide, M suits an 81 to 84 cm waist and 94 to 97 cm hip, and 4XL a 102 to 107 cm waist and 112 to 117 cm hip. XXL on this listing is the chart’s 2XL. Our supplier says they fit true to size, so pick the size whose waist and hip ranges cover your measurements; if they fall in different sizes, go with the hip.
