Mens Competition Jammers Black and Blue, cut for club racing and hard pool training. Each pair is black with a fine tonal pinstripe running down the fabric and a blue geometric panel on the outer side of each leg. The back is plain black with the same pinstripe.

The jammer is a close-fitting swim short that finishes around the knee, so it gives more coverage than a brief while still sitting flat against the leg in the water. The fabric is 81% polyester and 19% elastane, which gives the stretch for a close, secure fit.

Our supplier says the fabric dries quickly and that the colour keeps its depth after long spells in chlorinated pool water. We have no independent test figure for either, so we describe them as the supplier does.

Can I race in these competition jammers?

They are a textile jammer that covers from the waist to the knee, the cut most club swimmers race in. Our supplier has not provided a World Aquatics approval for this suit, so if your meet requires approved swimwear, check the approved list or ask your club before race day.

What is the fabric and how should I look after it?

The care label lists 81% polyester and 19% elastane. It asks you to wash the jammers separately and inside out with a mild detergent, keep them out of direct sun and avoid ironing over the print. Rinse them in fresh water after every swim and let them dry flat in the shade.

What size should I choose?

Measure your waist and hips and match them to the chart below. Jammers should feel snug when dry. If you sit between two sizes, choose the larger for training comfort or the smaller for a tighter race fit.
