Womens Snorkel Wetsuit Shorty, the Cressi Med X Lady is a one piece shorty in 2.5 mm double-lined, high-stretch Ultraspan neoprene, built for snorkelling, dives in tropical waters and summer days at sea. It is the updated version of the popular Cressi Tahiti suit, with a smooth rubberised chest panel that Cressi says also suits surfers.

A back zip with a long pull strap makes it easy to get in and out of. The seams are glued and sewn for strength and warmth, and flat neoprene inserts at the wrists and legs cut down the water flushing through. An adjustable Velcro collar lets you set the neck to a comfortable fit.

Is a 2.5mm shorty warm enough for snorkelling in the UK?

It suits warm water and British summer days in the sea. Cressi does not publish a temperature rating for the Med X Lady, and we will not quote a figure we cannot stand behind. If you feel the cold, the Cressi Altum Lady in 3mm is the warmer shorty.

Can I swim, sail or surf in it?

Yes. Cressi lists swimming, sailing and water sports alongside snorkelling and diving, and says the chest panel suits surfers. If you mainly want a shorty for swimming with a front zip, look at the Cressi Playa.

Can I do up the back zip on my own?

Yes. The long pull strap hangs down your back so you can reach it and pull the zip up yourself, then close the Velcro collar over the top.

What size women’s shorty should I order?

Use the Cressi women’s size chart in the photos; we stock the Med X Lady in XS to L. A wetsuit should sit close to the body with no loose gaps. If you are between sizes, send us your measurements and we will talk it through before you order.

How long does UK delivery take?

We ship from UK stock and delivery is free on orders over £100. If your order is delayed it is because that size has sold out and is being replenished, and that will take no longer than 10 working days.
